review: bomibox (december 2018)

I don’t know much about Korean beauty products, but after checking out Bomibox I’m thinking I should learn more! This box was filled with tons of goodies to treat yourself to a night of self-care. Each box is $38.99 a month and you can get an exclusive discount in my secret codes page!

Oooh, and just look at how cute this box is! It’s perfect for storing small things in my closet or bathroom.

It’S SKIN The Fresh Mask Sheets – Tea Tree & Avocado ($2.00 each)

The first items included in this month’s box were these it’S SKIN The Fresh Tea Tree & Avocado face masks. They’re perfect for a night in. Avocados are my favorite… fruit? Are they a fruit? Anyways, they’re amazing on toast. So I can’t wait to try these masks!

Double Dare OMG! Hair Band, Sky Blue ($8.00)

The second item in this box was an adorable fluffy headband! It’s perfect for using with a face mask! There’s actually an ‘OMG’ embroidery on the other side, but I flipped the bow around for a simpler look. This was like the ‘wow’ item of the package and is the cutest color ever.

COSRX Aqua Facial Mist, 2.70 oz ($13.20) & SOME BY MI AHA.BHA.PHA 30 Days Miracle Cleansing Bar ($18.00)

Also included were a COSRX Facial Mist and a Miracle Cleansing Bar. I love the packaging of the facial mist; it reminds me of the Brandless packaging! I’ve never used facial mist before and don’t really understand the point… possible just for cooling down on a hot day? There was also a miracle cleansing bar which is green on the inside and has the word “miracle” embroidered on it. The packaging looked a bit clinical to me. It could definitely use some freshening up to make it look a bit more trendy!

Klavuu Nourishing Care Lip Sleeping Pack Mini, 3g ($3.12), Tosowoong Blackhead & Sebum Out Nose Pack ($2.68), & Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water, 1.01 oz ($2.55)

Two of the next three items were likely sample sizes. The first is a nourishing lip care sleeping pack, which I think is like an overnight lip tint thing? The packaging is cute and it’s the cutest little size. The blackhead remover pore strips are something I’ve been wanting to try for a while! I’m looking forward to trying them out, and there’s around 10 in each package. The last item was this little box of tea tree cleansing water. I’m also not sure what this is for, but it’s a teeny little sample size.

And there you have it! This was my very first Bomibox and it was a ton of fun! The retail value of this box is estimated at around $51.55, and the price of the box is $38.99. Though this is one of the pricier subscription boxes that I’ve reviewed, it offers a fun opportunity to try a wide range of Korean beauty products that might be hard to find otherwise. I’d recommend this subscription box: it was filled with useful items and had a great color scheme!

Overall I was very pleased with this month’s box. My favorite items were the face masks, blackhead nose strips, and fluffy headband. If you’d like a box of your own, be sure to take a look at Bomibox’s website, Instagram, and Facebook page.

I received this subscription in exchange for my honest review. All opinions stated are unbiased and my own. Thanks for reading!
